Project Description
This is a game where players decide paths to take along a metro line. At each stop there is something to interact with, whether it be a narrative snippet to read or a paper “vending machine” where players are asked to insert something of their own creation for subsequent players to find.
Artist Statement
The thoughts that inspired this game came after returning from a recent overseas trip. I had questions about if travel actually spur personal changes, how that might look, and which experiences actually facilitate change. Those questions ended up intersecting with concepts like the afterglow (or “party’s over” depression) of a homecoming, and how fantasies influence our experience of faraway places.
