Bio
Mia is a tinkerer and designer with a bottomless appetite for understanding how things work. Her art practice is about experimenting with physical materials, discovering their properties and relationships, and finding more possibilities for play through process.
Mia is fascinated by traditional crafts and how they can combine or influence/be influenced by new techniques and technologies. She wants to discover what emerges from bringing ancient and contemporary art practices together.
